Logging in to this site
You must first register before you can log in. (See
Why and How to Register.)
To log in:
- On any page in the site, click "Login" in the top right-hand corner of any page.
- Enter your username and password in the Login boxes. Please note that these are case-sensitive. Both your username and password must be entered exactly the same way as you entered them on the registration form.
- Click Submit.
- You will be taken to My Support page, where you can access your product support and training information.
Determining if you are logged in to the site
Once you have logged in to the site, the Login are will display a "Logged in" message with links to My Support page and My Profile.
Logging out of this site
Although you will be automatically logged out of this site after a period of time, you should be sure to log out whenever you are finished using this site or if you will be leaving your computer unattended. This is particularly important if you are a Ceridian customer or client who is accessing Ceridian Web-based applications via this Web site.
To log out:
- Click Logout in the "Logged in" message area.
- The "Login" message appears.
Troubleshooting login issues
"Login" message does not appear on page -- "logged in" message is displayed instead.
If you or another user previously logged in to this site on the same computer but did not log out, you will see the "Logged in" message box. Simply click on
Logout and the Log in messagewill appear.
Please note: We strongly encourage each user to register individually, and we recommend that you log out when you are finished visiting MyCeridian.
You receive a "Password doesn't match username" or "Username doesn't exist" message.
- The login fields are case-sensitive. You must enter your Username and Password exactly as you entered them when you registered. Make sure that your caps lock key is not on, then try again - paying careful attention to what you are entering.
- Use the Forgot Password function to have your username and password emailed to you.
When you click Submit on the login page, the "Logged in" message box does not appear, or you are sent back to the login page again.
There are two possible causes for this issue:
- Your computer's system time, date and time zone information are incorrect. To check and correct this, in Windows:
- Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
- Click on Date/Time. Correct the date, time and time zone for your geographic location.
- Click Apply, then Okay.
- Return to MyCeridian and log in again.
- Your browser has been set to disable cookies. See your browser's Help function to determine how to enable cookies.
While working on the site, you are prompted to log in again, even though you have already logged in.
If you have been logged in to the site a period of time, you will be prompted to log in to the site again. This is for your protection - it prevents access to the site by others should you forget to log out and leave your computer unattended. Simply log in again and continue browsing the site.
