Michael W. Sheridan

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Michael Sheridan was named executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Ceridian Corporation in November 2007 and is responsible for Ceridian's legal and regulatory affairs.

Michael started his tenure with Ceridian in 1996 when he joined Comdata Holdings Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ceridian. He served as general counsel of Comdata and its subsidiaries, including Stored Value Solutions, for the past 11 years. Michael also served as associate general counsel from 1991 to June 1996. Prior to joining Comdata, he was an attorney in the Nashville office of Adams, Reese, Stokes & Bartholomew, P.A., practicing in the firm's corporate and business organizations section.

Michael holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Tennessee Law Review. Michael is a member of the American, Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations. He was recognized in 2007 by Nashville Business Journal as "Best of the Bar."
